Oakstone Winery's Slug Gulch Wine Club

Our answer during the first year and a half to inquiries about a wine club had been “When we have more wine!” Well, we have more wine now, and we are pleased to offer you the chance to participate in our new venture, “The Slug Gulch Wine Club.” (We debated the name at length, and rejected “Rolling Stones,” “Branches of Oakstone,” “The Acorns,” and worst of all, “The Grinding Stones.”)

There is no membership fee; simply sign up at the winery, by mail, fax or e-mail. We make four shipments a year of two bottles each. Members are entitled to an additional 5% discount on all quantity wine purchases at the winery, and will receive a special newsletter with each shipment. We will also be planning special events such as dinners, exclusive barrel samplings and special library tastings.

You know by now that we like to experiment with a variety of grapes and styles of wine, and this club will give you an opportunity to enjoy wines that otherwise wouldn’t be commercially feasible. Each year, we will produce several small lots of special grape varieties, reserve selections, special blends and innovative styles, exclusively for the wine club (many will never even make it to the tasting room). We may even send some pre-release wines, but we pledge that we will never ship you anything that isn’t up to our exacting standards (in other words, you'll only get Slug Gulch Red when we think it's the best bottle of red table wine we can make!).

The process has been designed to be as easy as possible for you. Simply give us a credit card number (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover); we’ll charge you for each installment and ship it to you by UPS. Or, if you prefer, you can pick up your wines here on Slug Gulch Road and save the shipping costs. The cost will vary slightly from shipment to shipment, but will average about $30.00 for the wine plus shipping charge of about $10.00 (that’s for California locations; other states will be slightly higher).
